Well, it's my one-month anniversary, I do believe, of blogging my knitting adventures. I decided it's time to move to a grownup blogging service, so this is my test entry. I can see that I will have to feel my way along and learn how to do things here. I'll be feeling my way along in the days and weeks to come, so if there are any readers out there, please bear with me. I can hardly contain my excitement at the prospect of posting photos, but I'm just plain too tired to contemplate it at the moment, not to mention that I SHOULD be working on my transcripts or sumpin'.
Here's my other, hopefully soon-to-be-retired, blog: NormaKnits First Edition
OHMYGOD! Did I do a link??? Did I really do a LINK????
O.............K...............? Ok, well, teaching old dogs new tricks is sometimes...........well..........tricky. I may piddle on the floor with my excitement, so watch out!
Meanwhile, I'm cruising along on the Pacific Grove Pullover 2nd Edition (this is the day of 2nd editions!) under the heading of "I Hope This One Fits," AND swatched the Buffalo Brownski Peace Fleece while on the phone with my sister. Using the US#9 Addi-Turbo, it went SO FAST that I might just be able to whip that baby out "in my spare time" so to speak! 9's is what it takes for me to get 4/in. in the P.F., and I will be at cruising altitude in no time with that Zenly simple PeaceFleeceEverydayCardigan! Very cool. The resulting fabric color on the Buffalo Brownski is so yummy, but I was surprised to see that next to my face the swatch wasn't all that becoming. But that could be because I'm all Sundayish and seriously sleep-deprived, sans makeup, sans hair product, and WITH glasses on. I'll just go out on a limb here and say Not At My Best. Somebody leave me a comment, will ya, so I know there is some life (intelligent or not) out there? That would totally make my day!
