    Love the cauliflower sheep!

    Carole

The cauliflower sheep are so cute!

    gayle

Parkour was very cool. And cauliflower sheep, too? You're too good to us...

    Manise

Cracking up at the sheep and the discarded pieces in the background.

    Alligator-hehe.

    Elizabeth

parkour was wicked cool - I'm going to have to remember to show that one to my daughter K.
The joke and the sheep ticked my funny bone.

    Joannah

A few years ago, I saw an animated short of Oedipus Rex where all of the "cast" were vegitables. They had cauliflower sheep too. Oedipus was a baking potato. Perhaps you had to be there. Anyway, this post - very cute, and funny.

    Jen B

I am a fellow joke killer - my husband has banned me from trying. Thanks for making me laugh out loud today. It's been a trying morning and this was a much needed bright spot.

Cauliflower sheep are my favorite it! I wonder if Smith would mind eating cauliflower sheep. I'll put lots of cheese on them and we'll both be happy. ;-)

    Anne

Giggled at the joke, marveled at the video and awwwwed at the sheep! Great finds, Norma!

    Carol

I'm a terrible joke teller, too, which makes me even more appreciative of a good joke. Thanks for sharing that one!

    jill

With all the little sheepy pieces behind him, could he be the Killer Tomato?

    Andi

Norma, since you posted the cauliflower sheep, you need to check out the "Bent Objects" site-it's awesome!

    KTE

Looks like I'm not alone in this...the joke was good, the sheep? Made my morning. :)

    Joannah

You know the whole inquiring minds problem?
Well, just saying the following link may not be suitable for young veggies.

(sorry, don't know how to get the hot link to work)
Classics like you've never seen them!

I just heard the tree-knitting story on All Things considered. Do they read your blog in search of news stories???

    marianne

Love the sheep, is that Tom the Shearer? are those bits of fleece behind him? hee.
I totally fail at joke telling and I LOVE good jokes. The Parkour motion reel was WAY cool!

Now that's what I was missing, cauliflower sheep!

    Angie L.

Thank you Norma, I needed a good laugh this morning :)

    Cookie

    Elaine

What a great post!! I hope you had as much putting it together as we have had reading it.

    Konna

the parkour reel was great! great joke! hahaha

    Kristin

I got several good laughs out of that one! Thanks for sharing again!

Norma, this is a day or so late, but I'm one of those who's been silently following you for months. I do it because I love your wit and your humor (they're not the same thing) and your smarts . . . and especially your openness. You have no idea how much I appreciate that. No, I don't always find (quite as) funny what you find funny (but usually, almost always, I do), but I love that you share it, whatever it is, with exuberance. You're one courageous babe, and you inspire me (near) daily. Cheers, hugs, and love to you!

    elizabeth a airhart

thank you for the daily motion link
how angels got thier wings is quite
    good and strange

i am from nj born there does not

in a pot of hot water you know

    Jane

It's Jane again, from just above. I read over my comment and realized how much more accurately it would read without the parentheses. Well, the first set should still apply, but . . . oh, bother. Make of it what you will.

Btw, apropos of nothing, Lucid absinthe isn't all that.

    Holly

    That was all definitely... interesting!

    Birdsong

I loved the joke... will have to forward you one about crocheting...
