All I can think of is how much I'd love to see you in one of those Martha W. bonnets.

    Carole

My favorite is the one with you and the statues. What are the counts up to?

Very glad I have a job to go back to today, what with all the exploits from yesterday!

How wonderful to have met you, Lynn and Tracey...come back anytime.

Oh those are wonderful! especially love Norma & the Washingtons out for a stroll in scarves shot. Looks like fun!

    Bev

Boy I wish I could have been there! I live nearby!

    Carrie

OMG, can I hug the kid that wrote that quote? Actually, I don't have time, I have to go finish my scarf.

    Jennifer

Norma - you rock! You personify the saying that "in giving you receive" - because it looks like in giving of all your hard work and dedication to the Red Scarf Project, you received the best day (dare I say "mini vacation?") What a rewarding project. I'm already thinking about next year's scarves (which may actually be the scarves that I didn't finish for this year). Keep up the fantastic work! Yeah! Go Norma! Go Norma!

    Becky

You look fabulous out for your stroll with The President and Mrs. Washington, Nellie and Jackie. Their scarves are quite marvelous!!

    I truly love Mount Vernon!

    sandy

I hope you gave all the interlopers dirty looks and then a good ole fashioned "Do you MIND??!!" And then told them you were from out of state and THAT is why they should move out of your photo pronto, baby!
I know you did. You learned that Gloucester lesson.

LOVE all of those photos. Love. And you make a fine statue! LX

    margene

Red scarves and red scarfed people walking all over Mt. Vernon. I'll bet Mr. Washington never imagined something like that happening.

    Joannah

Looks like some mighty fine scarves will be going to some mighty fine students.

    Marcia

Did you see the shop, Nellie's Needleworkers? That was founded by my SIL's mom and run by her for many years. In fact, the Mathieson ancestral home is on the next point downriver from Mt V and is now on the market if you are interested. A mere 13 mil. Great photos!

    Cookie

    How wonderful!

    kmkat

Those photos totally rock! (heh, get it? rock? rocking chairs? yeah, I crack me up)

World, listen up: The Norma is a force to be reckoned with.
