    ABsolutely Beautiful!

As to your sweater conundrum, you could try doing what Hubs does...

He stands absolutely still and says out loud, "If I were a 'fill-in-the-blank', where would I be?" And then walks right to it.

(yeah, it's nuts, but it works for him)

    Good luck!

    Marilyn

Oh yeah, you knit, for sure! And a very fine job of it too...

As for the missing sweater...who said they loved it the most?? I'd look in their closet first! ;)

    Kym

I hope you find it. Because it's divine.

    Holly

Yup, you definitely knit! Maybe you are doing it in your sleep! I hope you find that sweater!

    Nora

    "I don't knit." Ahahahahahah! /thud

    Anne

Yikes! Hope it turns up soon, cuz it is definitely sweater-wearing weather!

    Ruth

Missing?!? Gah! I hope it turns up soon.

The other knits you've shown us, though, are beautiful ... I don't remember seeing the Natalya mitts before.

    Renee

Well dang, 'course you're a knitter. Lovely knits!!

Sweater MIA? Uh, oh. Hope you find it.

    AnnaMarie

Sweater MIA? Daughter in NY? Could the two be connected?

    Adelaide

Oh no! I love that sweater and you look so good in it. Go find it now!!! Now!!

    Joansie

What a beautiful assortment of handknits. Of course, I've seen you wear some of them but had not seen them all.

    annie

I'm sorry. I got totally distracted by the adorable picture of Vincent in the "you might also like" area. Oh, Vincent.

    gayle

I knit a lot, but I never seem to get around to making anything for myself. Or maybe it's just not *finishing* anything for myself...
Good luck with the missing sweater. Try to visualize the last time you were wearing it.

    naomi

Good luck finding your sweater! (Maybe it's off gallivanting with most of my hats...)

    margene

We know your a knitter, you just forget from time to time when you're busy with other parts of your life.

    Stacey

I love the new look around here. Ahhhh, the knitting thing. It's good to remind yourself from time to time that yes, you do knit. Ravelry makes me realize just how bad I've been about it. In the past year, I've only finished one thing and it was a cowl. A cowl for Pete's sake. Sure, I have projects on the needles that I carry around just in case. (and knit on) But finishing something? Nope.
Here's to finding your sweater and have a Happy Thursday!

    Jean E.

Good luck, I hope you find it soon. I am still looking for a sock-in- progress I started earlier this year. I made great progress on it in an outpatient surgery waiting room this past summer, now I can't find it anywhere. Grrrrr.

    Joannah

It sure does look like you've been involved in some very fine knitting. Now, go look for your sweater...it's mid-October, you know how that turns out!

    Kathy

    Good stuff there!

    Mary Fran

I just unboxed my sweaters and have made the sad realization that I don't have shelf space for any more. So I either have to stop knitting myself sweaters... or take over some of my husband's shelf space. Luckily, he travels a lot so he might not even notice. I also may just start knitting myself scarves... and fingerless gloves... and and and... there's just not enough time in the day to knit. I may have to quit my job.

    Alison

I wish that sweater was safe here in my closet. In my experience, such missing lovelies usually turn up on one of my girls - if only you'd noticed it missing before NYC... It's hard to blame a girl for appropriating such great style. ;-)

    Ann

I took it, it was just my color and size...LOL. Seriously, I hope you find it soon. It's freakin cold now. Oh and I love the sunglasses you have on with the vintage cardi. So sexy!!

    marianne

wtf Norma, first your wallet and now that gorgeous cardi? I'm hoping that while writing this comment you'll have found it like what happened yesterday with the wallet. When did you have it on last? (I'd check with Cheryl, you two seem to wear the same sizes, heeee, just kidding Cheryl ;^)
Like Alison, wish I could tell you it was here and packing it up to post to you (after wearing it just one.more.day.) Sending all manner of good hunting and finding thoughts.
oh and yeah, you knit alright, WE know that!

    Linda M.

I love that sweater so much I bought the same yarn... I hope you find it! Did you find your wallet? Maybe there is a connection?

    Elaine

Talk to St Anthony, the patron saint of lost things. He has never failed me.... Stop laughing! It's true!

    kmkat

One of my favorite sweaters, albeit not a handknit, seems to be missing, too. Perhaps they eloped...

    Elisabeth

Elaine beat me to it--pray to St. Anthony. My grandmother has a rhyme she says: Tony, Tony look around, something's lost that must be found. She swears by it!

    Julie

My second grade teacher, Sr. Terencia, taught us a variation of that rhyme..."Dear St. Anthony, Please look around something is lost and cannot be found." I use it to this day. I just recently tracked down a missing sweater in a dry cleaner's bag with my daughter's pea coat that was cleaned last spring. Even though I could have sworn I'd worn it since then. So I would suggest checking any dry cleaning bags.

    Birdsong

Good sweater-finding vibes headed your way.. along with another prayer to St. Anthony (he was well-loved by my family growing up). It has been nice to be able to draw upon an already-made supply of warm woolies with the sudden change in the weather, and yours are fabulous.

    sandy

Garter Yoke Cardigan??? What? Why can't I remember that? It is so lovely! And I am thinking there might be a pair of Natalyas in my future!
LOVE the new colors on the blog! LERVE!
    LX
    *Still pouty*

    DebbieB

Mr. Jefferies hasn't made a nest of your sweater somewhere, has he?

    Cookie

    Nice rack!

Yup. Talk to St. Anthony. Then maybe call your daughter. ;^)

    elizabeth a airhart

    now norma knits and knits

close your eyes and make an image
of your garment it just might
    turn up mind over knitting

    lovely lovely knitting red looks
    good on you and jeffries

    Carrie K

Missing? Have you had recent visitors searched? And yes, it looks like you DO knit! Gorgeously.

    Diane H.

St. Anthony? I thought he was good for real estate sales when buried upside down in the front yard. As for the sweater, maybe it's been found in an office (like the wallet!)

You knit - just look at it all! Maybe you should Alert the Media that you are not knitting! So you took a little side trip for gardening this summer....
