These mini books are great aren't they :-)

I have an Asus 901 ( also black) that I use around school - it is so light and portable and connects to the school wireless network without trouble - invaluable when troubleshooting network problems ( and great for browsing the blocks from a comfy chair in the staff room at lunch break too)

I am so out of the loop, but that is amazing! I have to get my computer rage under control with my big, clunky, slow laptop, so maybe investing in one of those cute little ones is just the thing for me.

I have seen those and wondered how they were. Sweet indeed! xo

    Carole

That's really cool. Does it need a wireless connection or does it work like a cellphone?

    margene

Smith thinks he should get one for me, too! That would be so awesome!

    Jean E.

    Very cool!

    Vicki

I saw an ad for that yesterday -- sure can't beat the price!! Hmmm.

    Kelly

I'm getting the Asus 1000 (in green!!) as a tax "present" soon. I'm so excited!

    Mary K. in Rockport

    Ooh, I'm envious.

It's so cute, but my Acer Aspire One is pink! It so much easier to travel with than my "big" laptop.

    Cheryl S.

How cute! We have a Sony Vaio that we got for free (but had to buy and install a new hard drive), and I love it for traveling. But it's still quite a bit larger than your mini.

    Marcia

My iPod Touch does email and internet.....

    gayle

    Sweet, indeed!
But then again, I was the last person on the planet to get a cellphone. By the time I get around to getting a laptop, they'll be knee-cap-tops...

    Renee

    Nifty!

    carrie

    Want!

Too many https in the linky, honey. That is Typepad's fault as you know.

    Very cute!

Is the text big enough to read? Not all of us have the young eyes, ya know.

I have one of the alien laptops (from the give one, get one program), but I'm always tempted by the little teeny laptops I see online. One of my friends has one that is like a tiny brick and I think is even smaller than 2.5 pounds, which seems incredible!

    elizabeth a airhart

    happy you have one

    --Deb

So cool ... I'd love to have one of those little netbooks!

    melanie

Weird...I'm typing on mine now. :) I just bought it like 3 hours ago. The only thing that I don't like so far is that it doesn't have a cd rom. That's not what I bought it for though. LMK if there's anything I need to know about.Oh yes,be sure to get a flash drive so you can back up that cd if your mini goes haywire and needs a recovery.

    Sarah

    Too cute!

    claudia

    I want one.

    hope
