I used the Nor'Easter last weekend (which was actually a teensy bit anticlimactic this far north -- isn't that always the way?) to put in some mileage on the scarves in progress, and to start two new ones, since a person can never, ever, ever, have enough scarves. In fact, I think I'll grow another couple of necks just so I can wear more scarves.
Here's the latest finished one.
(Shoot. These pictures came out a bit darker than I realized.)
This one is a gift and is already on its way to its recipient. I hope she likes it. I'm not sick of making these Noro striped scarves yet, and I've already cast on for the next one.
Tonight is my office holiday party and cookie exchange. I'll be baking today -- several more batches of Dutch letters. Abigail is home -- my number one workout buddy. It's a good thing, what with all the overindulging that's going on.
I've been scarfin' away a bit, too. None of it has been as lovely as what you have done, but it has helped a little. Enjoy your workouts with your buddy.

I was going to stop at the bakery for treats on my way to work this morning and everyone in the whole wide world (well, my little town) had the same idea! There wasn't a parking place for miles (on the whole block, anyway).
Have fun with Abigail!!!

Ooh, looks great. I've been wanting to make one of those for a while - maybe next year.

Gosh, you are making me miss the gym. There's a ton of overindulging that is going on where I work (though luckily most of it is not me).

Thanks for the dutch letter cookie recipe - you owe me five pounds! Those are amaaaazing....Of course, my cookies aren't as beautiful as those scarves. The colors remind me of the northern lights I used to see in Alaska!

I am loving the Noro scarf thing too. The second I finish, I cast on another. That one is gorgeous, wish it was on its way to me.

Love the scarf! You're such a silly girl, growing extra necks and all;) Funny, I firstheard of Dutch Letter cookies from you, then the next day, I receive a box of dutch Letter candy from an employer! Deliciously strange!
