    lol...great socks.

    Kristen

Oooo--purple! I didn't think that was one of your colors. If it's not, I can think of a place you can regift them. You can keep the banana chips though. ;)

My Wayne's World is Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure. And, yes, I saw it in the theater when it first came out. I was 18 and just at that age to be precious enough to analyze "its sociological and philosophical and psychological constructs" while laughing my ass off.

    sandy

OH, Do our neighbors ever get a free show or WHAT?!
That Cookie is amazing! I can personally speak of her wonderfulness in knitting socks and drying bananas and just as an all around wonderful yet cranky person! (KIDDING, COokie! Or not....xoxo)
And Wayne's World. It is in the part of the brain labeled SNL love. And it is a big part of the brain.
Admittedly leaving little to no room for other stuff, but...
    SCHWING.

    margene

That Cookie is a goddess! Norma deserves warm toes.

    Sara

Wayne's World makes me think of "Bohemian Rhapsody" and now it's going to be stuck in my head all day long!

    Gorgeous socks!

    Cathy-Cate

    Happy Feet!
Shoot, I hadn't thought of Bohemian Rhapsody till Sara said it.
"Scaramouche, Scaramouche, do you do the Fandango?"
    Earworm!

    Susan

Oh, Cookie did you right with those lovely socks. I must confess I've never seen Wayne's World, but I know what you're talking about and I always get a big smile when I see one of those Schwing cranes on the highway.

    Carole

Lucky duck. Except perhaps about the neighbors.

    Lucia

    What number Trekking?

I took nearly the same photo of my Sockapalooza socks, only it was a Japanese maple.

    Ruth

Beautimus socks .... I am now Officially Bored with everything I have on the needles and want to cast on purple socks immediately.

    Vicki

Hahaha, I don't really care what the neighbors think, but I would love to know! Lovely socks!

    Kathleen

    Love those socks!! Lucky you!

    Carrie

Good thing you don't have neighbors like that woman on Bewitched. They'd spend their whole lives in a tizzy. Heh.

    June

I haven't seen WW, but you might appreciate "Dude, Where's My Car?" for the same sort of movie. Or, reaching even farther back in time, I always liked "Top Secret."

    Roxie

The neighbors probably, think, "There she is again! Oh boy, more gossip!" So you are doing a public service, encouraging community communication.

and it's a lovely photo of the socks. Well worth it!

    Susan Pandorf

The muggles all think we're odd no matter what! Might as well prove them right...

    Blessings!

    Cookie

The neighbors should be grateful you shaved for them. ;^)

    Lucia, it's #78.

Norma, you are most welcome. ♥

    Beverly

I guess I'm the one living under said rock...but then I never saw Star Wars either...can't end a sentence with "either".

    KnittyOtter

    Those socks are fantastic!!! :D

    MonicaPDX

Love those socks and the color! (Thank you, Cookie, for passing along the color number.) As to the neighbors, well; when you have a red robe and gorgeous new purple socks, wouldn't anyone have to celebrate by taking pix outside? Of course.

Just to be different, although it's overused:
We're not worthy! We're not worthy!

    (Oh yes we are. [g])

    Sil

    Lucky Norma! They're very pretty...

    Wanda

Beautiful socks. I love purple too. :-)

    Debi

Hey, what are neighbors for if not the occasional flash from the Norma :)

    Doug

I always wondered what "schwing" meant. Thanks for cluing us in. BTW can you knit those socks in a size 12 men's?
