Today I've been busy loading software on my new laptop. Does it ever end? BlackBerry, photo software, MS Office, QuickBooks (still not working properly), anti-virus, Weatherbug, and on and on and on. Honestly! Our lives have gotten far too complicated. All that software has made our brains go soft. Just.plain.nuts.
After a while I got well and truly tired of that, and so I played in the dirt for a while.
Here it is, three days after a snowstorm that dumped 22 inches in my yard, and today it is too warm to wear long sleeves and long pants for Mr. Jefferies to wear his sweater. It was balmy on the back deck (74 degrees F earlier, though as of now -- 5 p.m. -- it has cooled down to 68) so I potted up all of my tomatoes and a few other things as well. I had some plastic pots from previous nursery purchases in the basement, and Moo-Doo potting soil, and I went to town.
