Longtime readers of the blog may remember my transform-a-t-shirt kick a few years back, using ideas from the book Generation T. Posts about it here and here and here. Wow, it was almost five years ago! I can hardly believe that, but there it is right in the blog, for proof! How time does fly when you're having fun.
That book was one of the better purchases I have ever made, and I still regularly wear the halter tops I made for myself during My T-Shirt Phase -- when it's not 12 degrees Fahrenheit and snowing, that is.
If I'd had my wits about me, I might have made a couple of swimsuit coverups before we went to Jamaica. The next time I am in a lull period, I think I will do just that. We have umpteen dozen t-shirts in this house that are just languishing in various drawers. They need life breathed into them!
This was a boring t-shirt that I made into a sexy top for Abigail, but she never "noticed" it until now. She's been home for a couple of days, and since I've emptied everything from her closets and her bureau drawers except this and very few other things, she sort of had to notice it, I guess. But anyway, isn't it (and she) cute?
(She was a philosopy major undergrad, by the way.)
