Robin V. writes: "Almost time for a Mr J post, but I really want to hear that you're well and that you survived the snow and that things are generally okay in your part of the world..."
So here I am, to tell you that we only got a dusting of snow in my part of the world. I know! Ironic! (Like rain on your wedding day!)
Anyhoo... I've only got (quite literally) a minute, so here is a photo hopefully worth a thousand words about what I did this weekend.
And a bonus shot of a [quite special] yorkie in full gallop under the pinoak tree:
I am fully back to myself in terms of energy levels and strength, blood pressure and pretty much all the rest of it. I have a theory about what happened, but it's something that would be an unpopular one with the medical establishment. I imagine you're not surprised too much by that.
Hint: It involves the flu shot. (And it was Facebook, in its handy-dandy "One Year Ago Today" feature, that reminded me that I had not-quite-so-severe-but-very-similar symptoms last year after I had the flu shot. A light bulb went off. I had the flu shot four days before my hospitalization. But, as they say, "We may never know.")
Gotta run! Next class starts in ....30, 29, 28, 27.... SOON.
