Yes, indeed. The new Islander newspaper is out. See page 11 ad, and Letters to Editor, if you're wanting to follow along.
This fortune came with my Chinese takeout the other night:
Here is a photo I found still on my little camera yesterday:
This was taken in the airport before we boarded our plane to Nova Scotia. You remember those simpler times, before all this campaign nonsense ate my life? Yeah. I think I remember.
I just adore those behind-the-ears photos of Mr. Jefferies. A.D.O.R.E.
And because we missed Terrier Tuesday yesterday, here is a gratuitous extra shot from the plane:
I had a super-crazy-long day for work the day before yesterday, followed by an extra-early lecture the following morning, so I stayed overnight in Burlington. Poor Mr. Jefferies, which really means Poor David. Apparently he got David up every two hours all night long to take him OUT. And when he got OUT, all he did was look to see if my car was there, and look down the driveway to see if I was coming home yet.
And when I got home yesterday afternoon, all he wanted me to do was hold him so HE COULD SLEEP. Mr. Jefferies, that is; not David. Poor David, he had to just go to work regardless of his lack of sleep.
It's a dog's life all right.
Oh, HAPPY FALL!
Happy Fall to you, too. Though I'm trying to be in denial. Fall isn't so bad, but we all know what comes after...

Hang in there, Norma! :-)

Poor David. My dogs do that to my husband when I'm gone. Gene gets almost no sleep because they bark at every single noise thinking that I'm home. Normally by the second night they have calmed down and everyone can sleep the night away.

Thanks for taking the time out of your busy schedule to check in. Missed Terrier Tuesday. Always love seeing pictures of Mr. Jeffries. Happy Fall - take care.

Poor Mr. Jeffries. I don't know what Victor would do if either myself or my husband had to stay away overnight.

I love the pictures. Petey doesn't wake either of us specifically...he just barks at every sound he hears if one of us isn't there. And he paces a lot.

Happy Fall to you too, Norma!

I know just what you mean about the back of Mr.J's little head and ears, kissable.
Thanks for the link, I DO want to follow along. I kept looking for an ad put in by.. ahem.. but reading that one letter (bah) shed some light on that issue.
Hopefully the loyal (and intelligent) will come out to vote and and and..
Sadly there's a woefully vast amount of willfully ignorant going about, all across the nation, oddly enough they behave downright proud about it. I just don't get it.
I hope David is catching up on his sleep.
