Wow, there are SO many scarf patterns to choose from...let's see...I choose Palindrome, final answer. The cables look fun and entertaining, and can be a nice break from all the stockinette of the sweater.

    Mel

Wait? Fair Isle knit flat? Downright transgressive, that.

    Sarah

    Happy dance, indeed!

    It's a Multidirectional Diagonal Scarf.

    Julie

I'm going to guess the Corrugator scarf.

    Lisa H.

I think you're going to knit another Corrugator Scarf. (although I was tempted to guess seed stitch scarf!)

    Carol

    Palindrome scarf!

    Heather

I think it is a seed stitch scarf.

    Carole

    My first thought was Corrugator.

    Viki

Seed Stitch is a good guess, but I'm going with Palindrome!

    Diane

    Palindrome, definitely.

    Robin

    Corrugator, for sure.
(Although ... it took me multiple tries to type that ... maybe that's a sign my guess is off...!)

    marianne

    Congrats to Seanna Lea!
Not at all surprised you finished up with the back of the sweater, I KNOW you'll finish it in time :^)
huh. which pattern will it be... damnit. so many to choose from. Flo? Corrugator? Palindrome? or possibly even something entirely different?
that's it, 'something entirely different', ;^)

    Robin

    I guess the Corrigator scarf!

    Melissa in El Cajon

I vote for seed stitch. Hope I'm right and that I win!!

    Renee

    Palindrome. :)

    gayle

Everyone's guessing Corrugator, so I'm going to say Mistake Rib, just to go against the flow.
Congrats on the sweater back! That's a lot of knitting...

    Jane L

    palindrome

    Joannah

Well, the rose stitch? Cause, oh by the way, wouldn't it be cool to get a red rose scarf on Valentine's Day? aka- I have no idea, but I think the rose stitch would make a cool red scarf. It certainly would be different from stockingnette, or moss, or seed stitch.

    Jean E.

    Flo!

    Marilyn

Since you talked about it a couple posts ago...the diagonal garter stitch! :)

    kmkat

La Harlot's handspun one-row scarf. Because I used it. Twice.

    midj

No guess... I did, however, take myself over to the LYS and pick up some Louet's Gem in a gorgeous RED and cast on for my contribution. Thank goodness for college (SEC) football! I knit all afternoon and into the evening on my first Palindrome and am loving the pattern and the yarn (after untangling and rewiding the mess made by the puppy we were sitting for:-) Chunky weight so 40 stitches does it. Thanks for being such an inspiration, Norma!

Just to mix it up a bit, I'm going to say Palindrome with seed stitch borders. Is that covering all bases? Congrats on finishing the back of the sweater. I always find stockinette a slog, but I find I wear those sweaters most so I just have to keep reminding myself it's worth it. You mum's going to be thrilled with the finished sweater.

    Sue

I'm guessing your infatuation with seed stitch won out!

    Judy

I vote Seed Stitch - I am so confident that I started one myself yesterday - I want to do one more before the holiday crazies start! I am pretty happy with it - I forgot how much I love Seed Stitch.

i'd walk bare feet only with socks on and no shoes if had such pretty socks!

    Rachel

    Flo is my guess :)

    Jenn C.

    Diagonal garter stitch!

I did Palidrome, and my scarf is nestled in it's shipping box waiting to head out.

    Elaine

I'd guess Flo..... because it has been recommended for the RSP, and you haven't knit it yet.

    Sonja

Multidirectional diagonal scarf. Because you mentioned diagonal garter stitch the other day, and becaus I've made one and it's fun!

    Elizabeth in VT

Well, I tossed a coin between Palindrome and Corrugator. Corrugator won.

    Cookie

    WTH was that?! o.0

    Congrats, Seanna Lea!

    Mistake Rib.

    xo

    Charlotte

I think you'll be knitting a mistake rib scarf.

    Charlotte

My second guess is Irish Hiking scarf.

    sandy

You are making great strides on the Mom Sweater! Good for you~

    Gerri

My guess is Corrugator because when you want to just cast on and knit, it is the bees' knees.

    elizabeth a airhart

i give up what are you going to knit

    Jen S in Dovah

Seed stitch. You just fell back in love with seed stitch. :)

    Seanna Lea

Wow. Yeah! I love sock yarn. It's an addiction.

I would say that you are making maryse's gathered scarf on Bag 'n Trash, but I really don't know.

I just started a new scarf with a ribbing pattern and another one with a cabled pattern I sort of just came up with on the fly.
