Seanna Lea is the winner of the Mega-Mondo Sock Knitter's Prize that I blogged about on October 22.
Congratulations, and thank you to all the donors!!!!
There are still lots of great prizes to be won, and some really amazing ones that I have not yet had the chance to blog about (I promise I will soon!). Get in your donations now!
Wow, there are SO many scarf patterns to choose from...let's see...I choose Palindrome, final answer. The cables look fun and entertaining, and can be a nice break from all the stockinette of the sweater.

Wait? Fair Isle knit flat? Downright transgressive, that.
Posted by: Mel | Sunday, November 15, 2009 at 02:27 AM
Happy dance, indeed!
It's a Multidirectional Diagonal Scarf.
Posted by: Sarah | Sunday, November 15, 2009 at 02:35 AM
I'm going to guess the Corrugator scarf.
Posted by: Julie | Sunday, November 15, 2009 at 07:03 AM
I think you're going to knit another Corrugator Scarf. (although I was tempted to guess seed stitch scarf!)
Posted by: Lisa H. | Sunday, November 15, 2009 at 07:10 AM
Palindrome scarf!
Posted by: Carol | Sunday, November 15, 2009 at 07:31 AM
I think it is a seed stitch scarf.
Posted by: Heather | Sunday, November 15, 2009 at 07:42 AM
My first thought was Corrugator.
Posted by: Carole | Sunday, November 15, 2009 at 07:46 AM
Seed Stitch is a good guess, but I'm going with Palindrome!
Posted by: Viki | Sunday, November 15, 2009 at 07:50 AM
Palindrome, definitely.
Posted by: Diane | Sunday, November 15, 2009 at 08:04 AM
Corrugator, for sure.
(Although ... it took me multiple tries to type that ... maybe that's a sign my guess is off...!)

Congrats to Seanna Lea!
Not at all surprised you finished up with the back of the sweater, I KNOW you'll finish it in time :^)
huh. which pattern will it be... damnit. so many to choose from. Flo? Corrugator? Palindrome? or possibly even something entirely different?
that's it, 'something entirely different', ;^)
Posted by: marianne | Sunday, November 15, 2009 at 08:33 AM
I guess the Corrigator scarf!
Posted by: Robin | Sunday, November 15, 2009 at 08:37 AM
I vote for seed stitch. Hope I'm right and that I win!!
Posted by: Melissa in El Cajon | Sunday, November 15, 2009 at 08:47 AM
Palindrome. :)
Posted by: Renee | Sunday, November 15, 2009 at 08:47 AM
Everyone's guessing Corrugator, so I'm going to say Mistake Rib, just to go against the flow.
Congrats on the sweater back! That's a lot of knitting...

palindrome

Well, the rose stitch? Cause, oh by the way, wouldn't it be cool to get a red rose scarf on Valentine's Day? aka- I have no idea, but I think the rose stitch would make a cool red scarf. It certainly would be different from stockingnette, or moss, or seed stitch.

Flo!

Since you talked about it a couple posts ago...the diagonal garter stitch! :)
Posted by: Marilyn | Sunday, November 15, 2009 at 10:35 AM
La Harlot's handspun one-row scarf. Because I used it. Twice.

No guess... I did, however, take myself over to the LYS and pick up some Louet's Gem in a gorgeous RED and cast on for my contribution. Thank goodness for college (SEC) football! I knit all afternoon and into the evening on my first Palindrome and am loving the pattern and the yarn (after untangling and rewiding the mess made by the puppy we were sitting for:-) Chunky weight so 40 stitches does it. Thanks for being such an inspiration, Norma!

Just to mix it up a bit, I'm going to say Palindrome with seed stitch borders. Is that covering all bases? Congrats on finishing the back of the sweater. I always find stockinette a slog, but I find I wear those sweaters most so I just have to keep reminding myself it's worth it. You mum's going to be thrilled with the finished sweater.

I'm guessing your infatuation with seed stitch won out!
Posted by: Sue | Sunday, November 15, 2009 at 11:48 AM
I vote Seed Stitch - I am so confident that I started one myself yesterday - I want to do one more before the holiday crazies start! I am pretty happy with it - I forgot how much I love Seed Stitch.

Flo is my guess :)
Posted by: Rachel | Sunday, November 15, 2009 at 01:25 PM
Diagonal garter stitch!
I did Palidrome, and my scarf is nestled in it's shipping box waiting to head out.
Posted by: Jenn C. | Sunday, November 15, 2009 at 02:24 PM
I'd guess Flo..... because it has been recommended for the RSP, and you haven't knit it yet.
Posted by: Elaine | Sunday, November 15, 2009 at 02:59 PM
Multidirectional diagonal scarf. Because you mentioned diagonal garter stitch the other day, and becaus I've made one and it's fun!
Posted by: Sonja | Sunday, November 15, 2009 at 03:22 PM
Well, I tossed a coin between Palindrome and Corrugator. Corrugator won.

WTH was that?! o.0
Congrats, Seanna Lea!
Mistake Rib.

I think you'll be knitting a mistake rib scarf.
Posted by: Charlotte | Sunday, November 15, 2009 at 04:52 PM
My second guess is Irish Hiking scarf.

You are making great strides on the Mom Sweater! Good for you~
Posted by: sandy | Sunday, November 15, 2009 at 05:04 PM
My guess is Corrugator because when you want to just cast on and knit, it is the bees' knees.
Posted by: Gerri | Sunday, November 15, 2009 at 07:15 PM
i give up what are you going to knit
Posted by: elizabeth a airhart | Sunday, November 15, 2009 at 09:11 PM
Seed stitch. You just fell back in love with seed stitch. :)
Posted by: Jen S in Dovah | Sunday, November 15, 2009 at 10:03 PM
Wow. Yeah! I love sock yarn. It's an addiction.
I would say that you are making maryse's gathered scarf on Bag 'n Trash, but I really don't know.
I just started a new scarf with a ribbing pattern and another one with a cabled pattern I sort of just came up with on the fly.
