Before the 4th of July. In Northwestern Vermont. It's really quite extraordinary. And wow, the Packman variety is AMAZING. I can't wait to eat this. Perhaps with some Alfredo sauce. Hee. (see yesterday's post for link to inside joke)

Gorgeous! Here in the steamy midwest I have only the tiniest of broccoli babies! But we do have an abundance of green beans.
Love your garden adventures.
My broccoli (the ones that the rabbits, skunks, raccoons, deer (insert your choice of wildlife here) didn't get) aren't flowering yet.
Fess up, you are some sort of garden wench, I mean witch...
i'm telling you, it's the weirdest gardening year! aside from the fact that mine is actually growing like crazy (haha, shut UP!), i can't get over how abundant everything is in the COLD dreary weather we're having. it's like a polar bear club party out there . . .
oh crap, i forgot the REAL reason i commented; i wanted to ask if you grew the broccoli from seed or from starts, and if from seed, did you start those indoors or out in the ground?
thanks!

Looking good! I picked peas yesterday and had them in chicken salad with Gayle. Yummy!

I was so hopeful for our broccoli, and then nothing. Enjoy an extra handful for me. I love broccoli!

Our broccoli plants are finally starting to take off, but nowhere near flowering yet.

That broccoli looks delicious, even without any Alfredo...

You're not so far south of us, but are you ever a lot more advanced! I will also admit to being behind in planting, but still....
