You may be wondering wtf I'm doing up at this hour, so am I. Thanks for the patterns, Lucia and Elizabeth D. I have a folder on my desktop dedicated to RSP patterns. It's getting quite full :^) Love your red Corrugator!
    Happy 4th, Norma.

I can handle ribs and cables in small doses, but they would drive me stark raving nuts for an entire scarf. Would something like a garter scarf knit sideways in a nice yarn be acceptable?

Like this (only not bulky!): http://www.yarnharlot.ca/blog/archives/2005/12/13/we_are_a_simple_people.html

your post about the unsuitable items sent, kicked my butt into stash diving. i found a couple skeins of red heart soft (which is really soft squishable yarn) in a wonderful deep red. i've already got several inches done. =]

the berlin scarf by leah mitchell is an easy 'squeeze me' scarf.

I don't think the Swish DK is available in Fired Brick. Grrr. Hollyberry might be fine, though.
