I did NOT volunteer my time. But I had to wear something to show I was entitled to be there -- security was TIGHT -- and this is what they gave me. Not one that said "All Access," damnit, so I don't have any green room stories to share. Heh.
Anyway, it was a good show. Too bad I did not get within 100 feet of him. I'm squeaking this in before midnight of 3/28, so I don't miss a day in the life of the blog. I'll have to come up with something new tomorrow, after I get some rest. I am totally knackered. It's been one hell of a long, hard day.
It's one thing to transcribe a lecture or a speech - on whatever subject. But a comedy routine in real time -- does your brain have a separate compartment where you get a chance to appreciate the jokes?

I got to see him in Pittsburgh, way back in my previous life with S. Absolutely loved him. And since his wife's a vet tech, he totally gets my world.

Sounds like a heck of lot more fun than the elementary school auction.

What an experience. A brilliant comic, but he does talk really really fast.

Yeah, a 100 ft pole would've been cumbersome. I hope you're still snoozing.. with sweet dreams ;^)

I am heartbroken.
Can you exploit your daughter for your Sunday post? She owes you, ya know. That whole giving her life thingy and everything.

Nice. I have a little crush on him. So is he really short?

When I first saw this, I thought it was a book cover, by Jon Stewart, with the title, "Volunteer, Volunteer, Volunteer"...and I was wondering when he managed to squeeze that puppy out without my noticing. Can you tell it has been a long day already?
