He sounds so nice! Down to earth. If I had a TV, I'd watch him.

    Carole

How awesome! I'm one of those knitters he's talking about! LOL

    Vicki

Hahaha, that's awesome. No, we're awesome. No, he's awesome. (We're surreal.)

    Marcia Cooke

That is a hoot! News Flash of the best kind!

    Carrie

OMG, he is the cutest. (And FINALLY, I got to vote for a winner of SOMETHING.)

    Seanna Lea

That's pretty cool. I'll admit that I didn't vote for him, but I didn't vote for anybody. I just don't watch television (though having an idea of some of the people on the show does make it more tempting).

    Lucia

And we love Ryan. Oh, yes, we do.

    Cookie

    Yes, Lucia, we do.

    I am awed at:

    A) the excellence of your sneakiness in fulfilling your NaBloPoMo obligation today, and

    B) How great it was to read the interview. Go Ryan! Note how he kept the interviewer from turning the subject of knitters into a joke! What a guy.

And I howled at the love interest answer. [g]

    Anne

Lark, you can watch it on line!

    marianne

That young dude rocks hard. seriously. You're so lucky, Abigail is so lucky, Ryan is so lucky!

    Kristen

Are you sure it isn't that he loves knitting? ;)

    Jena (the yarn harpy)

What a great interview! (And what a charmer, too.)

    maryse

ha! that was cute. what was this knitting convention he was talking about? rhinebeck?

    haha convention.

i guess we're really one knit and purl stitch away from being trekkies. and the yarn harlot is our captain kirk.

    Wanda

What a sweetie! I was pretty happy with this interview, where he really did make knitters sound like awesome people and how he was overwhelmed by all us knitters who kept voting for him. Good luck in your career! I actually saw an episode with him in it, before I realized (tonite) that it was him almost two weeks ago before I switched to my new job, where I work M-F sadly.

    Ruth

He did have sort of a stunned expression on his face at the diner ... "surreal", indeed.

    SUCH a cutie, he is.

    Enjay

"It's surreal the amount of women on these knitting blogs"
He is so adorable. If he was surprised by the knitters on blogs, you should let him have a peek at Ravelry sometime. On second thought, it's probably best to ease him into such things gradually, wouldn't want to give him an aneurysm.

    sandy

    And knitters love Ryan.

    Alotta

That must be why I couldn't find Ryan on the tube today. I was watching the WRONG show! Bummer. Happy Thanksgiving.

    Kim

OH MY GOD--that is SO COOL!!!!

    Michelle

I voted for him! That is cool.

    Anne

That's great! and ATWT seems like a great show for young folks to learn the trade--

(How nice to have your child choose such a cutie!)
