So lovely and green. That might become my new late summer wallpaper for my desktop. Thanks! (Dave, you're making me hungry. Must buy beans for dinner.)
Lovely. I could have done with that at half three this morning when nextdoor's home-alone teenager decided that playing loud music would be a good idea!
Which would be the exact opposite of my neighborhood, where the building directly across the street from me is having its brick surface re-surfaced. Workmen banging the shit out of the entire building at 7am and swearing/talking about their "blondes." I may have to get out the SuperSoaker and start a little sniper action....
I can't help myself............the first thing that came to my mind when I saw this photo - farts. The kind that come from the dachshunds after I let them eat fresh green beans...........not quiet, not fragrant.
Q=Quality home grown produce. Mmmm, fresh beans. (Lightly blanched and marinated in a vinagrette with red onions. Mmmmm)

The summer is sure going quickly. 37 the other morning. Not what the tomatoes are looking for, is it? Lovely shot.

Bean plants are so pretty aren't they.
Beans lightly sauted with butter and sesame seeds. Tasty.

Quiet - I assume that this is something that returns to ones life after the children leave?

My heaven for a green bean!
Quiet pleasures, indeed.
