No. 110. For the Trek. Starting June 1st.
----------------------------------------
In other news, as you probably guessed, there were a few purchases in New Hampshire, in addition to the headband and mittens.
After having seen Claudia's adorable orange hedgehog, when I saw this adorable kit, I had to get it.
It's not orange, so therefore it won't be as adorable. But it'll still be quite adorable. Should I stop using the word "adorable" now?
And then there was some fiber for spinning. Something with the glitz:
And the reason for the purchase of this ball of roving is explained by the name of the sheep which is listed on the tag:
Very restrained, really.
I also came home with a bag of grey Montedale and a bag of super-soft camel fiber, as well as two balls of Rowan Biggie Print yarn to use for a Dulaan project, from Cate. I saw an Ashford Joy, barely used, with bag, and I was sorely tempted for a few minutes. Then good sense prevailed.

#110 is my very favorite Trekking!! Don't show Claudia, she'll buy it all :)
What pattern are you planning?
Did you see this months Family Circle? My Mom brought it over yesterday...there is an article about Ann and Kay from Mason Dixon Knitting and at the end they list knitting charities. Dulaan and the Red Scarf Project were both mentioned and I thought of you!

The Foxfire is going to be made into something "Uber hot" for all your hotness!
Camel? You found camel? Hmmmm....must have my people keep a closer eye on you.

All right, that's it. I've been doing my best not to get sucked into the Trekalong, but between you and Dave resistance is futile.

I just ordered some 110 from an itty bitty thumbnail photo - thanks for the full size! Yay - I'm getting a good color. :)

I'm a trekking virgin too. I have some trekking in that color as well as 3 other recently acquired balls(105, 108 and 100). The question is which one?

Happy Mother's Day Norma! Love that Trekking color.

Claudia must have started something - I ordered the supplies to make the hedgehog too. Although I couldn't make up my mind so I ordered the stuff for an orange one, a purple one and a blue one. I'm also looking through my stash as I have never knit with Trekking either - I have three skeins and I think one of them may be the 110.
Did you take some elderberry syrup and those big horse pills when you got home?

I discovered Barb Parry (Foxfire Fiber and Designs) at WEBS several years ago. Her stuff is delicious...I just got a pound of her Cormo/Silk blend. I love the stuff with the glitter, though and am about to plunge into three bags that I've had in stash. She'll be at Rhinebeck this year!

You walked away from a wheel! A spinner must have not been with you at the time...otherwise you wouldn't have had time to come to your senses!

I've worried for years about being frumpy. Now I have to worry about being "haggy". Sigh. It just gets worse and worse!

I think those Hedgehog are sooooo adorable. I will add them to my list of wants and desires :). Can't wait to see the picture of your finished ones.

I still can't believe you didn't get the wheel. Sigh.

What did Ab think of the sheep with her name? I hope you had a great Mother's Day.

Umm, what a beautiful color. I love it. I've seen it at the LYS and for what I remember, I might have even bought it. Hmm, still thinking about joining the Trek along, although I have actually knitted two pairs of socks with Trekking, not like I need an excuse to knit more!

I am at work and thus far from my ball band ... but I think that's the exact color of Trekking sulking in a "time out" on my bed. Be warned. (Also, knit for yourself, because thin yarn and man-feet? Oy, with the progressing toward finishing.)

BTW, did you notice that your hedgehog pattern is the latest entry at You Knit What??
I personally prefer to play with the real thing.

you should have bought the Joy.
On another front, however, Asterix and I just enjoyed the BEST breakfast omelette with Parmesan cheese. I am haunted by the lost beauty of your quiche. As you also left the GF Bisquik... please sned recipe?
Hugs,
Laura

It seems vaguely pathetic that I know exactly what so many Trekking color numbers look like - should I chooce, 76, 78, 100, 108, or 144? (all of which are in my stash...)

Oooh, I love your Trekking!
