All are invited to drop in for a casual cake-and-champagne get-together in honor of Nathania's upcoming nuptials.
WHERE: Norma/Nathania/Jen's room at the Courtyard Marriott, Poughkeepsie (Won't know the room number 'til I get there...but ask around)
WHEN: Friday evening, October 14th, starting at 8:45ish p.m.
WHAT TO BRING: Your smile.
And if you can bring a bottle of chilled bubbly, it would be highly appreciated. (or if you can connect with me and drop it off at the room earlier, I can put it on ice)
I also need someone to bring plastic forks. If you can bring some, will you let me know? We've got the cake, some champagne, paper plates/napkins, and plastic cups covered.
It would be helpful to have a general idea of the number of people coming, so please let me know in the comments or an email if you expect to drop by. Come congratulate Nathania!
Yeah, I'll be there. In spirit.
I'm not crying TOO hard. I know. This is MY decision.
blahblah

I'm going out on a limb to say that we'll be there. By we I mean Ann, Vicki, Ann's blogless friend Peg and me. Can I let you know later what I can bring?

Congrats to Nathania! Sorry to insert the nasal stuff.

Have fun celebrating! Wish I could come meet you but we're driving up from NJ this year. Stayed at that hotel last year - has a nice pool and hot tub.
I love the Mission Falls for Ribby. Just read that this is the last year for Mission Falls yarn. May have to take a trip to my LYS where it just so happens they are having a sale (Mission Falls included). And I love the colors you chose.

Oh, rats! And I happen to have a bottle of cold shampoo in the fridge, too. Unfortunately, I'm not doing three round-trips this year because of injury. Saturday is it. Send my congrats, even though I don't know the recipient of all this bubbly and cakeiness!

Have an extra toast to Nathania on me - I won't be coming up till Saturday - though might have to change the bus trip to an ark the way the rain is falling here now. Have fun!

I'll be at Rhinebeck, but won't be able to make the party, for a couple of reasons ... 1) my friends and I are bringing our daughters, and will need to put them in bed around that time, and 2) I feel all shy about actually meeting those of you whose blogs I've been reading and enjoying for so long!
Off now to try to get my Autumn cardigan finished before Friday ... it isn't looking good.

I may be able to stop by towards the end...don't count me in the food order.

Rock a little harder for me, will you? I'm a loser for not being there :)
Best wishes to Nathania!

Does EVERYONE know Nathania?!!! I met her at Commuknity, one of my LYS's, and mentioned her to Holly at Knit Happens, only for her to say "Commuknity? Nathania's shop!"
Have a good craic! I guess the cousins are rooming together ;)

I doubt I can make it, but I'm very familiar with the area, so if you have questions (about grocery stores, etc), I can definitely help you out. :)
